The difference between house and home

Is a house a home, or is a home a house?

Actually many other dwellings can be a home besides a house. A condominium can be a home, an apartment, a farm, a palace, or even a tepee. A home is the place where someone lives and feels that they belong. It's a place that has memories, a place of love, comfort, and security. It's your retreat.

A house is a type of building where people live. It is intended to be used by just one family and it may have more than one floor. A house can be a home, but that's just one type of home.

So, is your home a house, or something else? Mine is a condo.
