Veterans Day- November 11

Monday, November 10, 2014

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the year in 1919 marks the first anniversary of the end of World War I, known as Armistice Day. The date was declared a national holiday in many allied nations to recognize those members of the armed forces who were killed during war.

In association with that, we in the USA observe Veterans Day on November 11. It is a legal holiday honoring those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, also known as veterans.

We recognize veterans for their patriotism, bravery, love for their country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice.

Be sure the thank the servicemen and women in your country for their service today.
