"To thine own self be true."
My mind is still on Shakespeare and another piece of wisdom he offers in his play, Hamlet. To thine own self be true is an Old English way of saying trust yourself and be true to yourself.
It’s the best advice, no matter how you say it.
"This above all: to thine own self be true,And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!"
