How do you get what you want? What do you do to be liked? Ideally, being yourself is the most important but some people don’t have confidence, others can be manipulative, but if you try to be liked and you do things you normally wouldn’t do, you’re a kiss up. Kissing up is slang and it’s what people do if they want something.
For example, people kiss up to their boss for a promotion or they can kiss up in social situations to be considered cool. It’s usually easy to identify a kiss up because they’re very attentive, obedient, and excessive in giving compliments or doing favors. When you kiss up, you pretend to think that everthing is wonderful in front of that person.
No one likes a kiss up, by the way.
