I always like it when I can improve an unpleasant activity (like exercising!) and I accept that learning English isn’t the most exciting thing to do, so how about a distraction? Maybe I can make English fun for you today with palindromes.
A palindrome is a word or phrase that reads the same forward and backward. For example: Never odd or even OR A man, a plan, a canal, Panama! It doesn't matter from which end you start, the phrases read the same.
Creating a palindromic phrase is rather difficult but finding individual words that are palindromes is much easier. Like shape words, thinking of palindromic words is kind of amusing. Try it - there are a lot of them: civic, kayak, dad, mom, level, radar, eye, racecar, refer, solos, pop, noon, and more, more, more!Stretch your English vocabulary, make it fun by recognizing palindromes.
